The Swoop, by SellerSoar

What changed on Amazon this week, and what to do about it.
Amazon intelligence for founders who sell across borders.
Five items, weekly. Each one is dated, checked against Amazon or the regulator's own page, and ends with the action an operator takes that week. Written by Chris Niven, founder of SellerSoar.

Five items, each with the action to take.
Amazon's building things in your account this month. Check them before they go live.

01 / Threat / FBA virtual multipacks
Amazon is building multipacks from your stock. You have until 10 November to check them.
Do this: From 28 October, filter Manage All Inventory for VMP_ and price or delete every multipack before 10 November. Screenshot each single-unit page too, in case its images change.
02 / Threat / US liability cover
From 2 November, a $1m policy is the entry fee for eleven US categories.
Do this: Check every US ASIN against Amazon's enhanced-safety list this week. Upload the certificate in Seller Central (Settings > Account Info > Business Insurance) before 2 November.
03 / Threat / EU €2 item fee
The window to block the EU's €2 item fee has closed. Nobody used it.
Do this: Pull last month's EU orders that shipped from outside the EU and add €2 a unit to their margin. Where that breaks the price, move those SKUs into EU stock on the next inbound.
04 / Opportunity / Seller Central in Claude
Amazon has put Seller Central inside Claude. Give it read access before you give it the keys.
Do this: Set up one recommend-only workflow this week on the report you check most. Leave anything that acts switched off until you've read a fortnight of its recommendations.
05 / Threat / EU customs numbers
Your 60 days of EU customs grace end around 31 October. Your forwarder's number may not count.
Do this: Open Seller Central Europe today and read your own 60-day date. Then get your forwarder to confirm in writing that every EU inbound since 1 September carries your EORI.
